Sales Policy

   Goats can be held with a $100 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit. Payment must be paid in full before leaving D&L Ranch. Deposits are taken on a first-come first-served basis.
NO GOATS WILL BE HELD WITHOUT A DEPOSIT IN HAND. Goats can be held at the ranch for up to 2 weeks while the purchaser plans for pick up or transportation. If the goat is not picked up within 2 weeks, this may result in a $5 per day boarding fee unless
other arrangements are agreed upon. If the goat has not been paid for in full and picked up within 30 days from the date of sale, the sale will be considered forfeited, and any fees paid will not be refunded.
D&L Ranch reserves the right to retain any goat, at any time, while still on our property and in our care. We may offer a free waiting list for unborn kids; however, there is no guarantee of being offered a goat. If notified of an available kid from our waiting list, a
deposit of 100.00 is required to hold it. No goat will be held or reserved without a deposit.
D&L Ranch does not guarantee the health of any goat once they leave D&L Ranch and are out of our care. Should the goat die or become gravely injured while on our premises and in our care, any payment will be refunded. Stress is common in in both
kids and adult goats of all ages when being moved from one home to another. This can cause illness, parasite bloom, disease, and in some cases, death if not properly treated.
For that reason: all Sales are Final once the animal leaves D&L Ranch.

Kid sales:
Unborn kids can be reserved with a deposit of $ 100. This will be deducted from the price of the kid once it’s born. The deposit will be returned if the desired breeding does not yield available kids.
Once kids are born, availability will be determined by the breeder and offers made for available kids.

All kids will be disbudded. If you wish to not have a kid disbudded, payment in full will be expected at that time.
Kids are sold with registration papers or applications from ADGA, unless otherwise specified. Wethers will not be registered.

Adult goats
Available adult goats will be listed on our website for sale. If you are interested in any particular goat, please let us know and we will discuss if that goat is for sale.

Pedigree
Our goats are registered with ADGA unless otherwise specified. If we bred the animal, we guarantee the sire and dam are correct.
We DO NOT guarantee the validity of the rest of the pedigree, or pedigree of animals we did not breed, as it is simply out of our ability to know/verify goat lineage from other herds is 100% accurate.

Warranties
D&L Ranch will offer a replacement on the following congenital issues of a purchased animal we bred IF PROOF IS PROVIDED:
1. Teat defects – congenital issues only, not injury related.
2. Cryptorchidism – one or both undescended testicles.
3. Severe heart murmur – veterinarian diagnosis required.
4. We do not guarantee what our goats sold may produce later in offspring.

5. We do not guarantee our goats from developing future defects, such as maturing over height, carpal hyperextension, pendulous udder, or any other condition that occurs after they have left D&L Ranch

Inspection
You have the right to inspect the goat prior to leaving our property. Once the goat is transported off our property, whether you elected to have the goat checked or not, you accept it AS IS.

Agreement
By purchasing a goat from D&L Ranch LLC, you agree that you have read, understand, and will adhere to the conditions set forth in this purchase agreement.
